New PodCast - Sea Eagles

"Look, an eagle", exclaimed a kayaker friend who considers himself an amateur ornathologist.

To be fair, he's usually pretty good. Only this time it wasn't an eagle. It was a deer. Honestly.

This is the man to paddle with if you're going eagle spotting. He's Justin Grant and he sometimes uses his sea kayak to commute to work.

This involves reaching the inaccessible places where sea eagles and golden eagles sometimes nest. Once chicks have left, Justin collects the detritus from the nests. This usually means taking home piles of bones, which he reassembles (sort-of) to work out how many other birds the sea eagles have devoured.
